A place where small vendors can come and sell their goods to the public, the Minneapolis Uptown Market unites the community. The Uptown Market will offer an opportunity for community organizations to outreach to the public.

board members:
Shaun Laden is the Uptown Market Manager, in charge of vendor coordination and volunteer recruitment. He is a community organizer with several years of Minneapolis-based experience and keeps the UM running with countless volunteer hours.
Brendan Jordan is the Uptown Market Chair and on the Executive Commitee. He has been a driving force behind establishing the Market. He is a Program Manager at the Great Plains Institute.
Adam Faitek is the market Treasurer and is also on the Executive Committee. The market couldn’t operate without his organizational skills and interest in numbers.

Patrick Phenow is on the Logistics Committee. He is a recent graduate of the planning program at the Humphrey Institute. Also, he brews award-winning beers in his kitchen.

long-term volunteers:
Megan Gamble is the Fundraising Chair of the Uptown Market. She is a feminist who has worked in politics and community organizing since she moved to Minneapolis in 2006.
Roxie Speth is one of the founders of the Uptown Market. She is a ceramicist and multi-crafter, helping with vendor recruiting and miscellaneous tasks.
Abby Jensen is a Project Designer at James Dayton Design. She has been active in the structural design of the Uptown Market.
Jake Freeberg is the webmaster for the Uptown Market. He is a front-end web developer based in the Whittier neighborhood.
